The 2022 NASCAR season has brought along a lot of change, and not all of it has been good. From loose wheels and crew chief suspensions to flat tires and hard crashes, the transition to the Next Gen car hasn’t been a smooth one. As the playoffs carry on though, a more serious issue has now arisen… concussions.

Since its inception, W Series has been an all-female championship designed to create opportunities for female drivers and create a potential pathway for them to one day reach Formula 1. Since its inception though, the series has been the center of much discussion, and it hasn’t all been for the right reasons. However, the future of the series itself could now be in severe jeopardy.

With news breaking that Oscar Piastri will in fact drive for McLaren next season and beyond, the dominos are starting to fall in terms of what the 2023 F1 grid will look like. A number of vacancies remain as drivers with expiring contracts are looking to make their next move. So how will it all shake down? How about I take a stab at it so we can laugh at how wrong I am a few months from now?

Wheels flying off cars during a stock car race… nobody wants to see that. Not fans. Not teams. And certainly not the drivers who might be left to think “Was that my wheel?” as they watch one bounce helplessly up the road. NASCAR, however, can’t deny that they have a loose wheel epidemic on their hands, and it’s getting serious.

While this week has been flooded with excitement surrounding the inaugural Miami Grand Prix, social media has also been abuzz with the exciting news that Audi and Porsche look set to join Formula One in 2026.

You probably know that while last weekend’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix provided a lot to discuss on the track, it was what happened off it that’s left a sour taste in the mouths of many. But, if you missed it, here’s what went down and why it needs to be discussed in the light of day.

Two races in, and both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have provided no shortage of hard racing on the track. So as the dust settles from the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, let’s have a quick look at how each team has navigated the first two rounds of Formula One’s new era.

It feels as though last year’s whirlwind of a season has only just come to a conclusion, an end that was filled with controversy, drama, and two marquee names in the sport clashing for glory. And now, only a few months later, we’re ready to do it all over again.

On February 25th, a statement was released by Formula One that the Russian Grand Prix would not be going ahead this year, stating that “the conclusion is, including the view of all relevant stakeholders, that it is impossible to hold the Russian Grand Prix in the current circumstances.”

Jacques Villeneuve is polarizing. Jacques Villeneuve is a champion. And still, at age 50, Jacques Villeneuve is hungry for more. And to me, that’s beyond admirable.
